About Archie
From my own experience, I know how challenging academic subjects can be. I struggled during A-levels, but that changed once I shifted my focus away from simple memorisation. By adopting a technique based on understanding and analysing my thought processes I was able to significantly improve my performance. This new approach helped me succeed academically, leading to my BSc Software Engineering degree, and an MSc in Biorobotics. Now, I am passionate about sharing this strategy to help students avoid the struggles I faced and to unlock their own academic potential.

My teaching is focusing on fostering deep understanding over rote memorisation. Each one-hour lesson aims structured to address the student's past mistakes or areas of uncertainty, helping them to identify the errors in their thought process. We work together to correct these conceptual gaps, building a robust framework of knowledge. This approach empowers students to develop the critical thinking ability required to find the right answer through understanding and self-directed problem-solving.
