MRCP Medic looking to tutor Medicine at Med Student level and for PACES prep

Saira gave one to one tuition to my son (1 hour 30 a week) for just under one year (from mid year 10 to mid year 11).
My son had been studying in a French school until year 10 and wants to study sports.
He was struggling with science as the French curriculum is different from the English and required to obtain good science GCSEs in order to go on to study sports.
Saira was very helpful, thorough, punctual, trustworthy, supportive and hands on. She gave him a notepad to write all the points he needed to revise, which he found very helpful.
The outcome was very good as my son started year 10 in set 5. He was told he would have to take the Foundation science GCSE. By the beginning of year 11, he was brought up to set 2 and prepared for the Higher tier. His results for the GCSE science were 6 and 7.

Saira's passion for teaching is beyond compare. Whilst on placement, Saira made it her obligation to teach all the medical students on a regular basis in order to ensure that we were up to date with all patients conditions. Her engaging and self motivating persona ensures that all her students are engaged in the learning process.
She really understands what it means to not only be an awesome teacher but also an excellent mentor. I can remember spending long hours on placements with her when I needed help with practical skills, she was patient, diligent and very helpful in helping me gain confidence in my practical skills.
Not only does she care about education, she also cares about the student as a whole. She encourages, a balanced lifestyle which reflects her love for life.
