About Nageena
Science should feel like discovery, not memorization, and that belief has shaped every lesson I have taught. I am Nageena, a Biology and Science educator with an MPhil in Biotechnology, completed as a Gold Medalist. My passion for science started early and only grew stronger through years of research, lab work, and academic study.
I chose to move into teaching because I wanted to share that same curiosity with students rather than keep it confined to a lab. I have worked as a Science Teacher and Content Developer, where I built lessons and assessments from the ground up, and as a Teaching Assistant at University, where I supported undergraduate students through labs, grading, and seminars. I am also British Council certified in Inclusive Pedagogies, which means I actively adapt my teaching to fit how each student learns best, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Today I teach Biology and Science to students in the Middle East and the United States, across the British Curriculum, IB, American Curriculum, and IGCSE. What drives me is watching a student go from memorizing facts to actually understanding how science works, and I bring that same energy and patience to every lesson I teach.

My teaching approach is inquiry based rather than rote memorization. I use real world examples, diagrams and structured practice questions so students genuinely understand scientific concepts instead of just memorizing definitions for a test. Each lesson typically runs 60 minutes, with time built in for concept explanation, guided practice and quick review of previous topics.
I hold an MPhil in Biotechnology, completed as a Gold Medalist. I am also British Council certified in Inclusive Pedagogies, which shapes how I adapt lessons for different learning styles. I have experience as a Science Teacher and Content Developer and as a Teaching Assistant at University, supporting undergraduate labs and coursework.
My lessons are designed for students in Grades 5 to 8 studying the British National Curriculum, IB PYP and MYP Sciences, the American Curriculum, or preparing for IGCSE. I work with students based in the Middle East and the United States, and I adjust scheduling to fit Gulf region time zones.
