About Kamal
I am a BE in Computer Science with 20+ years of coding experience. I also run an after-school coding center in West Vancouver. I teach Scratch/ Python/ AI Foundation/Front-end and Back-end Development/ Game Design and Development, etc.
My coaching style is structured, starting with basic commands, syntax, and the structure of the language, and after that, getting them started with small real-world programs like a calculator/Fibonacci Sequence/ Student Grade Sorter/ code beautiful digital stories/ code game ideas like space-invaders.
I ensure my classes are not "teacher do the coding", but students code themselves, and when they have an issue understanding a concept, then I'm always there to support them.
I assure to the parents that my students start writing programs independently within four to eight weeks.

I can teach:
Scratch(Age 6 -11 yo): Programming using digital stories with visual programming.
Python Start(Age 11-13 yo): Learn basic commands of Python — one of the most popular programming languages in the world. I make them practice by creating programs for study, entertainment, and everyday life
Python Pro(14-18yo): Code advanced Python programs with VS Code and prepare to make a portfolio for university admission. I can help make a portfolio of real-world and useful applications for the community that helps them draw the attention of the top universities.
Website Design and Development(12-16 yo): Use of tools like Wix/ WordPress/ Shopify to build attractive static/ dynamic and e-commerce sites. Students can use their skills to develop and upgrade websites for friends and family.
AI Foundation(12- 18yo): I explain to students that AI is a very simple and innovative way to generate creative ideas and realize projects. How can they apply AI to everyday and educational tasks by creating text, graphics, music, videos, 3D models, presentations, and program code using AI.
Game Design(10- 12 yo): All children are unique, but they all love one thing – games! I teach them how to design their own using Roblox Studio and to take their first steps in this highly sought-after profession.
Graphic Design (9- 14yo): Students get to know the world of visual communication, from the basic tools like Photoshop/ Aftershock/ Coral draw used by graphic designers to the secrets of controlling a user's attention.
Minecraft Studio(12-18yo): Some kids not only play games, but they want to develop good game ideas and earn respect, money, and fame in the peer group. They want to create their own worlds. Minecraft Studio is for them.
Web and Frontend Development(15- 20yo): Companies use smart devices and applications every day, and frontend developers create the interfaces for them. I can teach your child how to create applications and demonstrate how they can develop in this profession. Using tools like HTML & CSS/ JavaScript basics/ Web design principles/ Deploy a live site.
