About Jane
Hello there, I am a mother of two boys in high school and I am due to complete my PGCE at a local grammar school next month. I have studied Biology for the passed 10 years at the open university. I graduated in 2018 and began my PGCE with LJMU in August 2019. Biology is my passion and I love teaching it in school and tutoring my own children. I can also teach physics and chemistry to year 7 and 8 children. At LJMU we have been taught how to engage children of all abilities and assess progress throughout. I have loved teaching my students at both my placements from year 7 to 12 and have found many resources which have helped to make my lessons fun and engaging.
I am a science nerd and I love to read science literature and watch science documentaries! I have followed the AQA specification throughout my placements and follow the CGP AQA text books for planning my lessons as well as the AQA specification.
