About Anjou
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Edinburgh, pursuing an Honours degree in Molecular Biology. In addition to my core studies, I have taken electives in Chemistry and will continue to do so next year. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, whether it’s helping my younger brother at home or leading group study sessions with my peers. My aspiration is to build a career in education, and I am eager to tutor students in molecular biology and chemistry to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for these subjects.

When I was taking my A-Levels, I transitioned from a German school system and had to catch up while learning how to study independently. This experience has equipped me with effective study techniques, especially active recall, which I now incorporate into my tutoring sessions.
In my one-hour (flexible) lessons, I provide comprehensive revision materials and focus on engaging students through active recall to ensure they understand and retain the material. I have prior tutoring experience, having helped my younger brother with maths, biology, and chemistry, as well as supporting my peers during our A-Level courses.
