About Siavash
I'm a recent graduate from SFU with a double major in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and Chemistry, with additional academic focus in infection and immunity.
My background includes cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, infectious disease, and vaccinology. This allows me to help students not only memorize biological information, but understand how different concepts connect.
I know biology can become overwhelming when there are many pathways, structures, terms, and processes to keep track of. I focus on simplifying difficult material, building strong foundations, and helping students understand the logic behind what they are learning.
I'm patient, approachable, and happy to explain the same concept in different ways until it makes sense.
