About Catrina
Bonjour, I'm Catrina and I'm currently studying languages at university. I grew up in a multilingual household so I am very familiar with language acquisition and am well equipped to help pick up languages from a young age, and later in life. I've tutored languages for three years and worked with refugees to improve their language skills in Spanish and French. I know that learning languages at schools can be challenging, and know that some extra support at home can be the difference between a grade 7 and a grade 9. I love helping students achieve their full potential and gain confidence in their abilities!

My first lesson will be about learning your current ability and working together to create a plan that suits your goal. This helps me create a personalised plan of action for your lessons, tackling any particular areas of interest. My classes will cover exam techniques and practice for GCSE French, and Oral skills for secondary school students. For beginners, adults or primary school, we will work on building a solid foundation of French that we will build on through fun interactive lessons. Each lesson will have a focused skill, through which we will explore the curriculum and expand on vocab, grammar structures and real-world application.

I know Catrina as a friend and Spanish tutor. Catrina helped me achieve a grade 9 at GCSEs last year. Catrina is a flexible and hard working tutor and her lessons helped me move up two grades. I would definitely recommend her as a Spanish tutor!
