About Emily

I am currently a modern foreign languages teacher, teaching both Spanish and French at KS3 and GCSE level, at a mixed comprehensive school in London. Prior to undertaking my PGCE in languages, I tutored Spanish to GCSE and A level students, helping them build their confidence in Spanish and obtain the grades they hoped for.

About the lesson

I focus on the different skills in my lessons and work on building strategies which students can use to tackle exam questions. I use a range of resources such as grammar books, reading passages and podcasts which allow students to improve their understanding of the language and their ability to communicate in it. I always maintain a calm and friendly approach where students feel comfortable to always have a go and ask any questions.
