About Laura
For 4 years, I have been teaching English to three children of 5,6 and 7 years old, 2 of 16 and 17 years old and two girls of 12. The first three students, although they are not in touch with the English, their age is perfect for introducing English in a playful and funny way to create and develop their passion for the language. With the other students, the classes were less entertaining as they were based on reviewing the concepts not understood in class and studying for exams.

I am a Modern Languages student at the University of Stirling, in Scotland. From the very beginning, I always wanted to become an English and French teacher in my country in order to improve the level of English in schools. My views on teaching differ from the typical strategies English academies use. I basically try to give students a lot of enthusiasm so as they will pick up on my enthusiasm for the language. I always think that children and even adults learn naturally when they are having fun. Hence, my teaching methods consist in doing different activities adapted on their age and level: games, audios, conversations and dialogues based on real situations.

Me apunte a un curso que hizo durante una semana voluntariamente y puso muchisimas ganas. Su inglés es excelente, cualquier diria que es inglesa. Se centra mucho en hacer hablar a la gente que me gusto mucho porque aprendi muchas cosas con sus juegos. Una profesora con muchas ganas de enseñar!
Empece con un nivel muy muy bajo pero con su paciencia y su energia he aprendido muchas expresiones y a saber diferenciar el ingles formal y informal ya que cuando era pequeña solamente aprendi inglés con un libro de texto. Me encantan sus juegos de mesa y role play para mejorar la conversación. La recomiendo 100%!
