About Moh
I’m currently a sophomore at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During high school, I've taken several AP courses and completed coursework at Georgia Tech for Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus so it’s very likely I have the background to help tutor your student. Most parents/guardians look for someone older and with more experience but I’ll offer a different perspective. A research study was published in the International Journal of Education Research that found that peer tutoring and rationalizations resulted in higher grades over instructor rationalizations. Being closer to the age of your child, I’ve likely had the same classroom experience as them and know what works and what doesn’t work from the perspective of a student.

I cater to students on a personal level and find what works for them and what doesn’t. I believe one of the best ways to demonstrate mastery in a subject is by teaching it. By having a student guide the tutoring session with what they know, they can feel more confident about what they know.
