About Miles
I am a Mathematics Graduate who got a 2.1 Degree at the University of York.
I have had previous background teaching online lessons to four students individually for the past year and also help teach Martial Arts classes with about 11 Juniors.
One of my A Level Students studying in Year 13 went up two grades in the space of two weeks during their mock exams and all of my students have developed their confidence in Maths being able to ask questions and answer without hesitation.

I base my classes based on the interests of my students. For example If they enjoy sports I will try to make investigations on topics such as Pythagoras based on football positioning etc. with that, I aim to make each lesson cater for each student I have to give the best learning conditions.
I believe that developing the students understanding and confidence is key to helping them improve in Mathematics and hope that my passion for the Subject comes through.
My lesson structure usually involves some riddles to warm up, followed by some worked examples and understanding and finishing a topic with an investigation.

Miles has been great since we have have been using his services. Professional, friendly, goes out of his way to help in areas that my child needs.
I really enjoyed my time with miles being my tutor because he put in the effort to make the lessons be relatable to me and my interest so I would have a better time and make it easier for my to learn
Miles helped me to considerably raise my A-level maths grade. Lessons with him are comfortable, and this never sacrifices any efficiency or professionalism. He is friendly, and knows how to keep me calm if I can't grasp a concept straight away.
