About Mike

I have been teaching art at the college level since 2017 and making art my whole life. I specialize in painting, drawing, life drawing, and portraiture. I also offer advice on anything related to art such as college portfolio preparation, critique and feedback, developing a body of work, etc. I provide personalized lessons available both online and in-person at a convenient public location, offering flexibility to meet your schedule and preferences. If you're ready to take your art to the next level, whether from the comfort of your home or in-person, I am here to help you achieve your artistic goals. Let’s create something amazing together!

About the lesson

The lesson starts with a conversation about what your goals are and creating a plan on how to achieve that goal. I am a personable and experienced private art tutor, specializing in painting, drawing, life drawing, and portraiture. With a deep understanding of various artistic techniques and styles, I tailor my lessons to suit each individual’s needs, helping students of any age or skill level to develop their creativity, refine their skills, and build confidence in their art.
