About Melanie
Hi, I'm Melanie, a tutor with a strong background in Political Science and Legal Studies. My main career goals are to become a government consultant. I am in the Pre-Law Club at my university and am a proud Poli-Sci nerd! I love teaching history and helping people understand why our world works the way it does!
Personally, I love writing, journalism, cooking, and pop culture! As your tutor, I will include your interests into my lessons to make it easier for you to understand the concepts.
I also have personal experience learning with ADHD and seek to use effective techniques for all my students.

History/Social Studies, AP US History, AP World History, and AP US Government tutor for middle and high school students, helping them prepare for the AP exam and improve their grades in class.
I help students with homework, or study with them for upcoming quizzes or exams.
I have personal experience with ADHD and learning disabilities, so I use active study methods like the Pomodoro technique and example-based learning to make sessions engaging and effective. My student-centered approach ensures a fun, supportive, and personalized learning experience. Remote sessions only via Zoom.
I offer weekly or biweekly sessions, for $10 an hour. Looking forward to helping you succeed!
