I have tudored 4 students now. They all had different criterion. One student wanted to work with me on her senior graphic design project for college. We worked together for several weeks and even constructed her gallery display together. She got several job interviews from the show and her professor gave her an "A."

I am a fun, motivated and friendly person. I love to learn about everything! So I bring that enthusiasm to teaching something to someone. I don't have tutoring experience...yet! But I can tell you I've managed many art departments and freelancers in my career in the design field and had to explain and teach many skills in the art department. I've also done many portfolio reviews for graduating design students from many area universities.
I think you will find me interesting to talk to and perhaps I can light the spark in you that still motivates me every day. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
I have a BS and an MFA in graphic design. I've art directed many magazines such as: Cook's Magazine, Golf Digest, Golf World, Computer Pictures, etc. I began my own design studio in 1989 and still work independently to this day. I design for many different clients, using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) to create solutions for all their marketing needs. I love this professional and like to pass on my wealth of experience and expertise to others coming up in the field.
Let's have fun while you learn the skills to get you proficient in image editing and design and layout. I am easy to understand and I think you'll find my enthusiasm infectious. I would enjoy working with people from all levels of experience. No one is too "beginner" for me!
