About Andrew
My name is Andrew Cusack, I am an actor from Cork, Ireland living in London! I have had a deep love for acting since I was a child, and now pursue the craft full time in London! Apart from the thrill of sharing my knowledge with students, I am excited to meet like-minded individuals and discuss acting and its techniques! Teaching gives me that opportunity, all while pursuing my art and staying away from dreaded other work! I'm friendly and approachable, and I could talk to a wall if you gave me a chance! Really looking forward to meeting you and chatting more, face to face is where connection is made and as an Irish man, these "About you" sections always make me a bit awkward!!

In acting, I use Fitzmaurice techniques and other holistic acting, focusing on the body and truth to a story. Through body and voice work learn to develop your instrument and practice. For more experienced actors or those applying for Schools, it is an invaluable practice. I have both worked as an actor and studied at top schools such as the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where I earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Classical and Contemporary text, and the Gaiety School of Acting. I have attended workshops and training from the best acting teachers across Europe, including attending the Globe Theatre intensive programmes. These lessons typically last an hour although we can negotiate length of time based on your schedule and desires! They would be best suited for intermediate actors or those thinking of applying to acting schools. But I would never turn away a beginner interested in the craft either!
