About Sydney
I have a B.S. in Education and an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School, where I trained intensively for three years in a conservatory-style program rooted in the legacy of the Actors Studio. In my first year I trained with Susan Aston, James Gandolfini’s private coach for The Sopranos, which shaped how I approach truth, behavior, and specificity in performance. My background includes Method Acting, Meisner technique, Linklater voice work, and advanced script analysis—but what matters most is translating these tools into work you can use immediately.
My specialty relies in the fundamentals of Method: sensory work-> which activates needs based on sense memories be it people, places, personal objects, smell, sound and touch.
I am here to help you refine your craft or help find the truth of the character and story be it for an audition or booked performance.

I offer two ways to work depending on your goals.
Long-term training is for actors who want to fully develop their craft at a professional, MFA-level intensity. We dive deep into Method-based sensory work, Meisner listening and responsiveness, Linklater voice and breath, script analysis, character psychology, and emotional arcs. Beyond technique, I help you build a repeatable process so your work is reliable, alive, and specific every time you perform or record a self-tape. This is serious craft-building that transforms auditions, performances, and your overall approach to acting.
Audition-focused sessions are immediate, practical, and results-driven. We break down your material, clarify stakes, shape emotional arcs, and make choices that read clearly on camera. I guide you through self-tapes, callbacks, and monologues in real time so you walk into every audition confident, prepared, and ready to stand out.
I also coach writers. My screenplays have been considered by Lionsgate and Netflix, and I’ve pitched directly to Doozer, Maximum Effort (Ryan Reynolds’ production company), and A24. I can help you develop scripts, show bibles, and pitch decks that are pitch-ready, drawing on real-world experience turning ideas into projects that get noticed.
