About Amr
I am a graduate with both an MEng in Aerospace and MSc in Air Transport Management. I have been giving lessons since I was 12. It started off with helping my younger brother in maths, all the way to having several students during my University years. Most recently I gave a guest lecture to the new MSc cohort.
I have taught boys and girls from the ages of 10-18 in the subjects of maths and physics and they have managed to get A's and B's instead of C's and D's. Hard work is essential, but without the right mindset and approach, students can spend frustrating hours accomplishing nothing. Not only do I simply explain complex theories but I also try my best to help them love the subject.

University taught me the valuable lesson of learning from the textbook. The majority of future learning is independent. There is only so much the lecturer can talk about in 50 min lessons across the semester. Therefore, independent learning is crucial and I focus on instilling that skill in students. My first question to the student is always, "Where is the textbook?" Then we go through it together and I explain what it is attempting to teach. From this, the student learns about the subject and learns how to read the subject's book. Exercises questions are then solved to cement everything.
