About Anthony
I have completed VCE Music investigation and Music performance on alto saxophone and was the dux in the school for both selected subjects. Studied saxophone for 6 years throughout high school, alongside piano and music theory lessons for 12 years outside of school. Throughout high school, I held the lead alto position in the senior jazz band, and small jazz ensemble, along with our school orchestra. I have also taken singing lessons, and have completed grade the 5 AMEB Musical Theatre exam with an honours certificate. Outside of school, I was a member of Jazz Melbourne's Youth jazz band in 2019 playing in the second alto position, alongside Drew Zaremba, Dick Oatts, and Rich DeRosa to name a few, all under the instruction of Toshi Clinch. I am currently a student at Melbourne University studying a Bachelor of Design with a concurrent diploma of music performance, and breadth's in composition.

I base my classes on interactive learning and engaging environments, focusing on the passion of music and finding ones own individual sound in their playing. I will work at the student's pace and push them to grow and enjoy the music they're making. I will focus on developing the student's ear, working on interval training and relative pitch, assisting in their overall musicianship.
