About Haining
I have taught many students in math ranging from year 6 to year 10. I have significantly improved a student's math score by 10% just a week before their exam. I have also seen improvements in other children learning Mandarin. I am able to teach students in English and Chinese. I believe, to be a good learner is to have an interest in what you're learning. I also have experience working with groups of students for math and I would assist them with difficulties. I find group learning to be more engaging and fun. It is also a good way to know other students who are working on the same level as you. I am also a very patient and easy-going person as many of my students find me easy to talk to and even talk to me about interesting stories in their life. I believe if you are willing to work hard and improve your scores, I will be there to assist you and see you improve.

I have taught many students for two years. I will focus on schoolwork students do. Lessons will be tailored to each student's needs, so they will get the best out of it. To ensure class is engaging, I usually put some brain warmers before lessons so students are able to get started on thinking. I will teach according to the level of the student and provide interactive learning sessions for them. I will also break down concepts for students step by step that they find hard to cope with. I am able to teach year 5-year 10 math concepts and also will be able to give students a head start on their learning by teaching them concepts they haven't covered before. Moreover, I will track student progress and give weekly revision if they request to ensure they are improving. I will also provide support outside of class (via email or any other social media) and send notes that I've written down in class for them. I will also provide extra materials if students have a test or exam they need to revise for.
