About Dorothy
In my eight years as a Special Education Teacher, I’ve dedicated myself to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment through hands-on learning strategies. I believe in making lessons interactive and practical to cater to various learning styles, which has significantly improved student understanding and retention. Managing a diverse classroom is one of my strengths; I work hard to ensure every student feels valued and supported. By adapting my teaching methods to meet individual needs and collaborating closely with colleagues, parents, and specialists, I strive to provide tailored support for each student. Seeing the progress and enthusiasm in my students is a testament to my commitment and effectiveness as an educator, and I take great pride in being able to contribute positively to their learning journey.
