About Martha

With 25 years of experience as a professor of Medical Physiology at the University of Oriente in Venezuela, alongside numerous academic lectures at various universities, I have a long career dedicated to educating young adults and professionals. I also hold a Master’s degree in Higher Education, which allows me to implement highly effective learning strategies tailored to each student's needs.

About the lesson

By taking my lessons, you will learn directly from a medical doctor with 30 years of clinical and academic experience. My classes offer a highly integrated approach across three main pillars:

1. Real-World Application (Biology & Physiology)
I don't just teach Biology and Physiology as abstract textbook concepts. We explore them through the lens of a 30-year medical career. You won't just memorize how the body works; you will understand how it translates to an actual clinical setting, pathology, and patient care.

2. Specialized "Medical Spanish" Expertise
For students, healthcare professionals, or expats moving to Spain or Latin America, a standard language teacher cannot provide the technical vocabulary required in a clinical environment. I teach Clinical Spanish. I will help you master medical terminology, patient-interviewing techniques, and the cultural competencies needed to provide high-quality care to Spanish-speaking populations.

3. Academic Mentorship
For pre-med, nursing, or healthcare students, you are gaining a tutor and a mentor. Having successfully navigated the medical field for three decades, I offer unique insights into medical education, clinical challenges, and the realities of a long-term healthcare career.
