About Kelsie
I am a student at The University of Queensland studying Bachelor of Health Science as a pre medicine degree. I started tutoring in Grade 10 as a peer tutor for younger students at my school and continued through to grade 12. I found that a lot of student and peers approached me for help due to my understanding of their schooling situation, I was able to adapt to different students learning styles and understand individual needs. I think my ability to relate to a student yet help them learn encourages motivation which leads to better academic results and enjoyment in learning.

As a tutor who has experienced schooling in maths and science, I understand that often it is quite difficult to grasp concepts of the syllabus or the course. I would go through course or subject requirements and make sure that my students have a solid and in-depth understanding of each section. I am willing to adapt teaching styles to cater for students as I understand some students are visual learners, some interactive or auditory. My method of teaching would depend on what works best for the student in order to achieve enjoyable learning, I'm willing to take feedback and tips for following sessions in order to encourage further engagement. I also will help with organisation such as revision time tables or methods on request.
