About Alina - Loredana
I am a medical doctor, Life Coach and trainer from Romania, with 19 years of experience of living and working in the UK, including 16 years as a doctor.
I completed specialist training in psychiatry in the UK and obtained my CCT in Forensic Psychiatry. Throughout my career, teaching and training have been an important part of my work. I have taught medical students, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals and have been involved in simulation teaching, examinations, interview preparation and professional development.
Because I have worked as a doctor in both Romania and the UK, I understand the challenges faced by international medical students and doctors studying, training or working in an English-speaking environment.
I particularly enjoy helping people understand complex medical concepts, develop clinical reasoning and communicate more confidently in professional situations.
My aim is to make difficult material more understandable and to help students and healthcare professionals become more confident, capable and independent in their learning.

My lessons are designed for medical students, international doctors and healthcare professionals who want practical, personalised support from an experienced doctor and medical educator.
Having lived and worked in the UK for 19 years, including 16 years as a medical doctor, I can help with a wide range of medical and professional goals. Depending on your needs, we can work on medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, psychiatry, case discussions, clinical communication, medical English, presentations, interviews or preparation for specific academic and professional situations.
I have extensive experience teaching medical students, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, as well as involvement in simulation teaching, examinations, interview preparation and professional development.
Lessons are adapted to your level, specialty and objectives. I focus on clear explanations, practical examples and active discussion rather than simply memorising information. If English is not your first language, we can also work specifically on communicating confidently and naturally in clinical and professional situations.
Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, discussing clinical cases, improving your medical English or becoming more confident communicating as a healthcare professional, I will tailor the sessions to what you need.
