About Grace
I am a dedicated medical student with extensive experience studying and teaching the foundational sciences tested in the first two years of medical school and on the USMLE Step 1, which I successfully passed on my first attempt. I specialize in subjects including anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, and biochemistry, with a strong focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than relying on memorization alone.
My teaching style is patient, organized, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in challenging topics. I incorporate active recall techniques, board-style practice questions, and high-yield review strategies to help students improve both academic performance and long-term retention.
As someone who has recently completed these courses and exams myself, I understand the pressures and challenges students face. My goal is not only to help students succeed on exams, but also to develop efficient study habits and critical thinking skills that will benefit them throughout medical training. I take professionalism seriously, arrive prepared for every session, and am committed to helping each student reach their academic goals.
