About Esme
Hi! I am a final year Medical Student at Southampton University and have completed an intercalated degree in Medical Education. I have experience in teaching individual lessons as well as small-group and large-group based teaching. I have also been a swimming teacher for 6 years, working with both adults and children of all ages.

Through my own learning this year, I have learnt about the importance of student-centred learning. Although I would use the syllabus and past paper questions to help structure the lesson, what we go over would be up to the student. In order to get the most out of the sessions, I would help the student identify their learning goals; what they need to work on most in order to succeed!
