About Joseph
I am currently a 1st year medical student at Queen’s University in Belfast.
Studied Biomedical Science previously achieving a 1st class honours degree from Queen’s University Belfast.
Previously tutored GCSE students in Double Award Science as well as current nursing students in the areas of physiology and anatomy.
Previous lab experience working in the areas of immunology and Multiple Sclerosis.

My methodology takes the form of a four step programme.
1. Identify all areas that tutoring is required and use a rank based system to evaluate the need for extra tutoring (1 = not much tutoring needed, 10 = large amount of tutoring needed)
2. With this rank system, tutoring will be broken down based on the necessity for extra tutoring (this does not mean that those ranked 1 will be ignored, they will just be focused on in lesser detail unless the student becomes confused in particular areas of those ranked 1)
3. Prereading will be assigned prior to the lesson to allow students to grasp concepts in the area that will be taught (these will consist of key concepts which will be explained in further detail in each lesson)
4. Short work assignments will be assigned to the student to be completed between lessons as well as access to a database of handmade flash cards in order to encourage active learning.
(NB: lessons can be tailored based on the students needs, students requirements and any other extra work they may want e.g extra work assignments)
