About Maya
I've been a tutor for about 6 years now! I finished my Bachelor's degree in Biology and am now in medical school (MD). I've taught students at all levels and different age ranges across high school and university level. I've helped students raise their grades by as much as over 20%, and have helped to send many students to competitive programs by helping them achieve their academic goals!

I personalize my lessons to match the learning style of my students. I try to meet them where they're at by collaborating and checking in with them in between lessons to help identify their strengths and weaknesses to focus lessons on the highest yield areas and adjust my approach to their learning method.
