I am a recent leaver who plans to study Medicine. I completed my A levels this year and was predicted 5A*s which I believe demonstrates my academic capabilities. I have also completed numerous courses across different subjects such as biology and chemistry which allow me to offer unique insights into each subject that I teach

I start with a conversation with the student and form a 3 month plan with sessions and create a shared google doc with the student. Then within my lessons, I believe that the first 10 minutes should be spent teaching the content along with an exemplar question with the next 10 minutes being trying to do questions with similar format and the next 10 minutes will be further questions from past papers and problem solving with some unfamiliar questions. Then I repeat this process with another small subtopic
I have been tutoring for 3 years within my college and my target audience are GCSE students and A level students. The typical length of each lesson is 1 - 1.5 hours where I usually aim to teach 2-3 small subtopics. I place emphasis on exam technique as this will help my students pick up marks more easily and thus feel more confident in themselves
