About Parsa
Hi! I’m a second-year medical student at the University of Auckland, offering guidance for first-year Biomed and HealthSci students aiming for clinical pathways. I have tutoring experience from both high school and university, and previously studied Computer Science and Statistics for two years, achieving an A+ GPA before switching to pre-med.
Beyond tutoring the core pre-med papers required for entry into medicine, I also provide guidance on managing the broader demands of your journey. Maintaining a healthy mindset and well-being impacts performance in tests, exams, and interviews.

I follow the 80/20 rule: around 80% of your results come from 20% of your study. After completing pre-med with A+ grades across the four core papers, I focus on helping students identify areas that matter for each paper and how to adjust study strategies. Your first year can feel like a swamp of new information, and knowing where to focus will save you time, energy, and unnecessary stress.
Tutoring students in university has shown me that learning is different for everyone. Before we begin our tutoring session, I want to spend the first session getting to know you and how you will learn best. I can plan what our lessons will look like and how to adapt after each lesson. Lessons can include a back and forth discussion over a topic, drawing concepts out , coming to the lesson with questions you have, and/or doing practice questions. I also offer MMI practice, where we work through mock questions and I provide detailed feedback.
In the first free session, we'll get to know each other and plan how to structure our future lessons for your learning style.
