About Aanika
Hey, I’m a medical student with an A* in A-Level Biology and a 9 at GCSE, passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in science. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and know effective techniques for mastering both content and exam questions.
My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style. I focus on simplifying difficult topics, improving exam technique, and helping students develop strong revision habits using active recall, past paper practice, and clear explanations.
I like to make my lessons fun and interactive and having recently done these exams, I can relate to all the stress and anxiety at this stage so I like to create a fun, supportive space where students feel comfortable. I enjoy making lessons engaging and encouraging students to ask questions in a comfortable learning environment.
I really love helping others where I can and I had so much fun in my last tutoring experience that I can’t wait to help more students. I personally learned so many things from my A level and GCSE experience which I would love to pass on and use to help someone else with their exam prep!

I’m a friendly and patient medical student with an A* in A-Level Biology, offering GCSE and A-Level Biology tutoring tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. My lessons focus on building strong understanding, exam technique, and confidence, helping students improve both their knowledge and grades.
I teach by breaking down difficult biological concepts into simple, clear explanations and using active recall, exam-style questions, and spaced repetition to reinforce learning. I also focus heavily on mark schemes and past paper practice to help students maximise marks in exams and to not only help them understand the content, but also how to clearly navigate the exam itself.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Each lesson is structured with clear goals, interactive teaching, and practice questions to track progress and identify weaker areas. I am an adaptable person and like to personalise lessons and the way content is taught or tested depending on the specific person and what works best for them.
My tutoring is aimed at GCSE and A-Level students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to pass, improve confidence, or achieve top grades such as A and A*. As a current medical student who recently completed these exams successfully, I understand the demands of the courses and can provide effective, up-to-date guidance and support. I have had past experience in tutoring which was very successful and have always really enjoyed helping others excel!
