About Sophie
My name is Sophie and I am a first year medical student in Trinity College. I achieved 625 points in my Leaving Cert including a H1 in maths and my HPAT exam was in the 97th percentile. In school, maths was one of my favourite subjects and I would often help out classmates with difficult topics before exams. I continued to help my 3 younger siblings with their maths courses once I finished school, and I currently teach a handful of local students private maths lessons.

I teach maths from a purely practical approach, focusing on getting students to do as many practice questions and exam papers with me as possible. I have been teaching maths to local students since my own Leaving Cert 3 years ago, with lessons typically lasting 45 - 60 minutes.

A kind, competent and dynamic teacher. Sophie was always well organised, exam-focused and my son always enjoyed her lessons.
Sophie taught my daughter Leaving Cert Biology after not doing well in her mock exams. Her lessons and notes were organised and well thought through, and Ella was always engaged in her lessons. Sophie definitely helped increase Ella's grade and I can't reccommend her enough.
