About Crawford
I am a 19-year old medical student at Queen's University Belfast. I am a White British by nationality. However, I was born in Canada and lived for 10 years in the Orient. A rather unusual start to life! For years music has been a large part of my life and I have played in public concerts since 7 years old. I have a passion for helping others in medicine and through music.

I believe Piano teaching must be given with an important balance. Firstly, it must be about fun and enjoyment. Too much pressure too young will result in unhappiness, resentment and quitting! However, secondly the pupils must be encouraged to work hard, practice and learn from the teaching in order to progress from one stage to the next. Especially more advanced pupils need pushed to achieve their full potential. Therefore, I make all lessons tailored for the individual.
