About Chrissie
Hi!
My name is Chrissie and I am a first year medical student looking to help you reach those top grades in GCSE Maths!
I have always enjoyed maths— I didn’t want to end it at GCSEs so decided to do it at A-level too. Maths has always been quite a tricky subject for some, I know this having younger sisters who are in secondary school waiting to sit their GCSEs— just like you! After helping them understand the content and explaining ways of tackling those challenging questions, they were able to bump their grades quickly. Nothing makes me happier than being able to help others, especially when it comes to school work. It can be daunting but once you understand it, maths can be really fun— my lessons will be tailored to what it is you want to learn exactly, and I will take into account the method at which you best learn— absolutely no pressure. I hope that I am able to make maths more enjoyable and a lot easier for you!

My lessons are for anyone who is looking for help with their Maths GCSE grades—whether it is for their smaller topic tests in class, or their official GCSE examinations.
My lessons will range from 1-2 hours, where content is taught (understanding), tested with real exam questions (application) and then reviewed during the lesson, and randomly on another day (consolidation). I, myself, am a visual learner so diagrams and pictures will be used to help strengthen knowledge during lessons.
In my A levels I achieved:
A in Maths
A in Chemistry
A in Biology
In my GCSEs I achieved:
9-9 (A*-A*) in Combined Science
8 (A*) in Maths
7 (A) in both English Language and Literature
9 (A*) in Spanish
7 (A) in Photography

I have experience in tutoring through helping younger years in my school and family members/neighbours for 2+ years.
