About Abudy
Hi, I’m Abudy, and I’m a first-year Medical Student at the University of Sunderland.
I’ve always enjoyed Biology and Chemistry, and I particularly enjoy understanding how scientific concepts connect to real-life situations. This interest ultimately led me to pursue Medicine, and I would love to help GCSE students develop the same confidence and enthusiasm for science.
I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as A grades in A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I understand that GCSE science can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when there is a lot of information to learn, so I aim to make lessons clear, approachable and enjoyable.
I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I will always take the time to explain something in a different way if it isn’t clear the first time.
Whether you are looking to build your confidence, improve your understanding or work towards the grades you are aiming for, I will tailor my lessons to your individual needs and support you throughout your learning.
I’m really looking forward to helping students become more confident in Biology and achieve their potential.

Hi, I’m Abudy, a first-year Medical Student at the University of Sunderland, offering friendly and personalised GCSE Biology tuition.
I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Biology and an A in A-Level Biology, so I have a strong understanding of the subject and of the transition from GCSE to A-Level. As a current medical student, I also continue to build on my knowledge of Biology through my degree.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students of different abilities, whether you are struggling with particular topics, looking to improve your confidence, or aiming for the highest grades. I will adapt each lesson to the individual student rather than using exactly the same approach for everyone.
I like to focus on understanding rather than simply memorising information. Lessons can include clear explanations of difficult concepts and examples, active questioning, exam-style questions and past-paper practice. I will also help identify areas where marks are being lost and show students how to approach exam questions effectively.
Lessons will typically last 1 hour, although I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs and age.
As I am a new tutor, I am particularly committed to making lessons welcoming and engaging. My aim is for students to finish each lesson feeling that they understand the topic better and feel more confident about tackling questions independently.
I currently offer GCSE Biology tuition online.
