I plan on assisting my students by breaking down individual topics, and building their education from the ground up. I strongly believe in building strong foundations which allow us to continue to harder content. Once my students are able to build up their knowledge, I will push towards trickier questions. For students in exam years, getting closer to exam-styled questions is ideal, and sometimes pushing students towards challenging questions can really build their confidence when approaching examinations. During my lessons, I plan on running a quick starter to refresh them on prior knowledge required for the upcoming lesson. After that, I would dive into content and demonstrate with examples on how to tackle simple questions, and would request that they get this down. Following this, I would push towards more challenging exam-style questions and make sure that my students are able to tackle them, and provide help whenever needed. A plenary and homework is definitely helpful for consolidation.
