About Lois
I currently am in my 5th year of medical school at Imperial College London. I have graduated from Imperial as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in pharmacology. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) instead of A-levels and received grades of 7, 6 and 6 in higher level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology respectively. These grades are equivalent to A* and above. I was in the top decile for UCAT entrance exams scoring 3190. All my medical school interviews were face-to-face and I passed both panel and MMI styles.

As a current Imperial College London student who has been through the process myself, I know just how stressful the entire process is. I hope to use my firsthand experience and knowledge to advise future medical students and make this time easier for them. I offer focused tutoring that will be tailored to your goals. Students will have different areas they want to focus on from practising particular sections of the UCAT to wanting someone to review their personal statements. This will be a discussion they have beforehand, however, I can offer: - Personal Statement Proof-Reading and advice - UCAT technique advice and practice questions - Medical school practice interviews All practice questions will be provided by me and catered to the students' strengths and weaknesses. Each of the areas listed above (personal statement, UCAT, interviews) will usually fill one session entirely and be that lesson's focus. UCAT and interview practice will need multiple sessions as they are skills and techniques that need to be practised. Please get in contact and let me know what you need help with! Sessions can be held on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meets.
