About Milton
I am a third year medical student, who got in via the General Entry pathway. Before I returned to study I got a masters degree and worked for ten years designing and running training sessions for organisations around the country.
I love to teach, and am very confident on the core first year courses for medical entry (Biosci 107, Pophealth 110, and Medsci 142) as well as the MMI and UCAT.

People learn best through problem based learning - tackling questions to build understanding. I also like to build strong conceptual understanding through revision and clear examples. We can talk about how your brain builds memories to get the most out of your study. We can also talk about what is like studying medicine in Auckland. I incorporate my past experience designing and running training to whichever subject you struggle with. We can go through concepts you want to focus on, or practice problems.
