About Pholnart
I am a first-year medical student at UCC and an alumnus of Winchester College, holding an unconditional offer from Imperial College London before transitioning to my medical studies.
Having navigated through this competitive landscape of the scientific curricula, I mentor GCSE and IGCSE students for both Chemistry and Biology. My goal is to make science as intuitive as possible, encourage curiosity, and ensure mentees achieve the marks they deserve!

As a visual learner, I prioritise conceptual understanding rather than mass memorisation of scientific textbooks. My lessons rely on multiple summaries and flowcharts to tie together the different concepts and topics learnt during the entire GCSE course because, while they are daunting on their own, they fit together like a puzzle!
Having achieved straight A* GCSEs and As in both Chemistry and Biology at A level, I understand what is required by the mark scheme. Syllabus knowledge is only half the battle; the other half is exam technique.
