About Scarlett
I am a Medical Scientist and have written for The Telegraph and the Motor Neurone Disease Association charity's National magazine. I have taught biology to schoolchildren and the public during National Pathology Week and ran a stall raising awareness of motor neurone muscle wasting disease at the University of Exeter Medical conference.

My teaching method is asking focused questions to unpick a topic and then linking concepts by theme to form the bigger picture. Lessons are discussions that are about interactively challenging students to not just ask questions, but to ask them well.

I know Scarlett through university, we study the same degree. I have never met someone so hardworking and so excited about the world around her. She's amazing at sharing her interest of science and it's intricacies with the people she talks to and as the Science Editor of our university newspapers, with strangers too.
