About Shelly
Hi everyone, I'm Shelly Masawan, a friendly and enthusiastic tutor specialising in Maths, Science, and Computing for KS2, KS3, and GCSE students. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style, and goals. Whether your child needs support building confidence, catching up on classwork, preparing for SATs or GCSE exams, or aiming for top grades, I'm here to help. I break down challenging topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps and create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel less overwhelmed and comfortable asking questions. My aim is to help every student grow in confidence, develop strong problem-solving skills. As a medical school offer holder with a strong academic background, I understand the dedication and effective study techniques needed to succeed. I achieved strong GCSE results and was predicted A*A*A at A Level for Biology Chemistry and Maths, giving me a solid understanding of the subjects I teach. I'm reliable, patient, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

I offer friendly, supportive, and personalised tutoring in Computing, Maths, and Science for KS2, KS3, and GCSE students. As a medical school offer holder with strong GCSE results, including Grade 8s in these subjects, I understand what it takes to succeed in exams.
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether they want to build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics, or prepare for assessments. I explain concepts in a clear and simple way before working through examples and exam-style questions together. I also provide helpful revision techniques and tips that helped me achieve strong results.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes or more depending on how the student is progressing in each lesson and are designed to be engaging, interactive, and focused on helping students reach their full potential.
