About Michael
I am a medical doctor with an MBBS degree and clinical experience across General Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology. I enjoy breaking difficult medical concepts down into simple, clinically relevant explanations that students can actually remember and apply. I tutor medical and health-science students in Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Clinical Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, OSCE preparation and medical-school examinations.

My teaching is student-centred, interactive and clinically focused. I begin by identifying exactly what the student understands and where the difficulty lies. I then break the topic into manageable sections and explain the underlying concepts using simple language, clinical examples, diagrams and memorable frameworks. For clinical subjects, I focus heavily on clinical reasoning: how to recognise the important clues in a case, generate differentials, interpret investigations and arrive at an appropriate management plan. I also use active recall, short questions and exam-style cases throughout the lesson rather than relying on passive lectures. This helps students test their understanding as we go. For examination preparation, lessons can include:
• Topic-by-topic revision • Past-question discussion • MCQ practice • OSCE scenarios • Clinical case discussions • Rapid revision sessions • Identification of weak areas and targeted revision.
Every lesson is adapted to the student’s level, medical school curriculum and examination goals.
