About Debora
I started tutoring privately in 2020 whilst doing my Level 3 Diploma in engineering and A-level Maths. Through my first tutoring agency, I got training specific to tutoring.
Having two younger sisters, I was always helping them do their homework and teaching them to boost their grades from the age of 12. This is when I gained an interest in tutoring.
After achieving Distinction* Distinction* Distinction* in my Level 3 Diploma and an A* in A - level Maths, I went on to study an integrated Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

My teaching methodology is student-centred which focuses on adapting to a student’s needs and learning style. My goal is to develop their way of thinking so that in higher education they are able to tackle difficult concepts on their own.
My teaching techniques include using various assessment methods to track a student’s progress. I also use real - life examples where appropriate which often helps students. Exam preparation is also a large part of my teaching techniques.
Having 2+ years in private tutoring, has enabled me to deliver and gain a deep understanding of education curriculums across physics and maths. I have also gained experience working with age groups ranging 5 yrs old - adult.
