About Idara
I’m a Mechanical Engineering graduate and an educator who genuinely enjoys helping students discover that they are capable of more than they think. Over the years, teaching has become more than just a job for me; I love seeing the moment when a student finally understands something that once seemed impossible. I’m patient, very approachable and passionate about helping students build both strong academic skills and the confidence to use them. My goal is to make learning feel less intimidating and more rewarding, while helping every student become a more independent and confident learner.

My classes are the kind of lessons students look forward to. I keep them lively, engaging and interactive, while making sure every student is actively involved in the learning. I focus on helping students truly understand what they are learning, not just memorise methods or repeat answers. We work through questions together, discuss different ways of approaching a problem, and I encourage students to think, ask questions and explain their reasoning. I also adapt each lesson to the student, giving them the support or challenge they need while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Whether we spend 30 minutes mastering one difficult idea or use the full lesson to tackle a range of questions, the goal is always the same: for the student to leave thinking, “I actually understand this now.”

I want every student to leave my lessons feeling like they’ve genuinely learnt something. From the first lesson, we’ll work out where you’re struggling and start fixing it. I’ll guide you through what to focus on, what to practise and where you need to improve, so you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
