About Lucas
I am a Mechanical Engineer holding both a Master's and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in diverse disciplines within the field. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively contributed to the education sector, notably teaching courses such as Mechanics of Materials (Solid Mechanics), Statics, Dynamics, Numerical Methods (MATLAB), and the Finite Element Method (FEM).
In the course of my master's program, I immersed myself in the development of practical indentation techniques for the elastic-plastic characterization of metals. For my PhD, I directed my efforts towards formulating a methodology for optimization-driven design of energy harvesting systems. These endeavours encompassed comprehensive analytical, numerical, and experimental analyses, fostering the refinement of project planning skills and deepening my understanding of material electromechanical behaviour.
