About Yatzel
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with proficient English and Native Spanish. During my mechanical engineering studies, I gave algebra and math tutorials to elementary and high school students, and I contributed to a tutoring and help program for new students during their first semester, which was aimed at raising the level of mathematical knowledge to avoid future defections.

Teaching and understanding the complex language of maths can be a really challenging task. You have to develop a reasoning thinking, not a memorizing one. This is why explaining with visuals and patience is so critical to understand maths. In order to solve questions and really understand any topic, I prefer to do one on one session, so we can practice the theory and get straight to practical problem solving, this is where the kind of doubts starts to appear. Beginning lessons with a reminder of the previous lesson can help you to remind or understand something that was not clear the first time. Remember that math can only be learned by practice and analysis, in a visual, fun, hands on way.
