About Moegsien
I am Moegsien McCluskey. As a fourth-year medical student, I embody qualities such as hard work, goal-driven focus, discipline, and passion. Reflecting on my journey since entering this degree, I have evolved into a confident individual capable of commitment, adaptation, perseverance, belief, and taking a stance. My self-awareness extends beyond recognizing strengths, emphasizing continuous improvement through reflection and a proactive approach to better myself.
Being a social butterfly, I thrive on engaging discussions and have cultivated a reputation for being approachable and bubbly among my peers. These attributes align with the social nature I portray, fostering a supportive and vibrant living environment for students.
Academically, I've garnered awards for outstanding performance, but my deepest satisfaction comes from assisting others. The peer support program during high school equipped me with valuable skills to be a compassionate listener and guide. Additionally, my participation in the Western Cape Blood Donor peer promoter program not only honed my public speaking and social skills but also emphasized the importance of community service and outreach.

I am able to explain concepts in the most easy way. I make use layback terminology to bring across a concept. I am vibrant and so passionate.I enjoy breaking the hierarchy that are present between students and teachers. I prefer setting up my lessons as buddies/friends. My lessons are always interactive and I will never set it up as a teaching environment but more a discussion platform.
