About DrShathis
Hello. I am Dr.Shathis from Ipoh. I have been teaching for 12 years in Biology and Chemistry. 10 years in Science and Maths for lower secondary. My teachings are clear as far as I know. Students will be encouraged to voice out their facts and methods and I have the ability to explain difficult concepts quite easily. I also use technology sometimes to teach. I do give a lot of homework and the students must be well aware of their subjects because there are quizzes and exams almost every session. I only require your discipline and hard work. In all the subjects that I teach, my method is using a whiteboard to illustrate concepts. After I have taught a particular chapter, there will be quizzes to gauge student understanding. Besides that, there is allocated time for revision in each of my classes of previous subtopics. My typical length is 1.5 hours 5 minutes break (The brain functions optimally for 45 minutes and it needs a break). I have been teaching Biology and Chemistry for 13 years and 11 years in Science and math for lower secondary. My students have scored decent marks in all the government exams. My lessons are ONLY catered for science stream students ( Biology, Chemistry), and Lower Secondary ( Maths and Science). The only requirement that I require is you need to be very hard-working. No lazy people in my class.
