About Anna-Maria
I am a Canadian/Romanian med student in Ireland currently going into my third year while tutoring students planning on taking the MCAT.
Comprehension, reasoning, and analysis are incredibly important in medical school, so my experience over my last 2 years at school has helped me foster the ability to tackle these passages in an effective way. Additionally, the bulk of my studies revolve around anatomy, physiology, and biology so am very comfortable helping with those subjects as well.
I am also happy to chat about my experience in medical school to students hoping to apply, or we can have very bare-bones lessons that don't go beyond the scope of the MCAT. The choice is yours!

I methodically get students comfortable answering MCAT passages confidently and accurately!
- We begin with reading passages together, typically by forming new habits and getting rid of maladaptive ones within the first session
- Eventually you will work on your own to finish passages under time constraints and explain to me what your thought process was when answering questions.
- Lessons are typically 1.5 to 2 hours but can go up to 4 hours long if needed!
