My Teaching Approach: Discovery & Conceptual Mastery
My core philosophy is that students learn best when they are guided to discover mathematical concepts rather than just memorize procedures. My approach is built on my experience as an IMO Silver Medalist and IIIT graduate, focusing on deep conceptual understanding.

Teaching Techniques and Methods
Socratic Questioning: I don't give immediate answers. I use targeted questions to guide students toward the correct mathematical reasoning and solution, helping them build analytical skills.

Visual and Analogy-Based Learning: Abstract concepts are broken down using real-world analogies and visual representations (diagrams, graphs) to make them tangible and intuitive.

Problem-First Approach: New topics are often introduced via a challenging, context-rich problem that requires the student to explore and understand the necessity of the new concept.

Usual Structure of a Class
A typical 60-90 minute class follows this flexible structure:

Review (5-10 min): Quick check of previous homework and concepts to ensure retention.

Conceptual Discovery (20-30 min): Introduction of the new concept through a problem or guided exploration/proof.

Core Practice (20-30 min): Working through graded examples (easy to hard) together, focusing on methodology and common pitfalls.

Application & Summary (10-15 min): Solving a complex, application-based problem or competitive-style question, followed by a recap of key formulas and insights.

My Special Features as a Teacher
Competitive Edge: As an IMO Silver Medalist, I bring a unique focus on problem-solving heuristics, elegant solutions, and the ability to handle high-difficulty, non-routine problems.

Engineering Foundation: My IIIT background allows me to connect high-level mathematics (Calculus, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra) directly to technology and real-world engineering applications, providing context and motivation.

Personalized Pace: I adjust the complexity and speed of instruction based on the individual student's mastery level—accelerating for quick learners and reinforcing foundational ideas for those who need it.

Intended Audience
My classes are primarily intended for:

School Children (Grades 3-12): Focusing on excellence in board exams and laying strong groundwork for college entrance.

College Level (Engineering/Science Undergraduates): Support for required Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics courses.

Competitive Exam Preparation: Students preparing for JEE Advanced, AP Calculus, SAT Subject Tests, and regional/national Math Olympiads.
